Stay Alive
My name is Holly. This is my hunger Games blog, I do post spoilers, so beware. Anything you want to ask me or if you just want to discuss the books or movie, I'm always up for a chat so just write in my ask. If your blog is mainly The Hunger Games then I will most likely follow you back. Everlark and Clato. ♥

AU: Katniss hits the force field instead of Peeta, Finnick couldn’t revive her:

All of a sudden the grip I have in real life loosened. I feel the walls of my once unbreakable soul shatter into a million fragments and I watched as they fall down to the abyss of her absence. I try my best, all I have to bring her back to life, to bring her back to me. I punch the soft layer of moss that beat with life beside her, hoping it will wake her up. I know it won’t. She still sees though; her eyes wander aimlessly on the faces the hung above her. She sees me. And suddenly everything crashes down on me: The bread. The kiss. The pearl. Her braids. Her voice full of pain as she takes the nightlock out of my hands. Every single moment I’ve had with her suddenly shook the foundations of who I am. I punched the soil harder and harder and harder. I can feel Finnick restraining me, pulling me away from her , but I push him away. I try to make sense of what lies ahead. But it’s all a blur. Then she started slipping away. Her right palm was cold and weak as she tries to brush my cheek. Tears were falling without hesitation, I hear her whispering: ‘I’ve always loved you Peeta.’ a gasp for air. ‘Always.’ And that was it. I close my eyes as I let her flame die. I lost the love of my existence. I lost the reason of my breathing. I lost Katniss Everdeen.
